What is fog?

Fogsight is a free and open source AI animation generation tool that can quickly transform users’ text descriptions into vivid animation works. Users only need to input a topic or concept, such as “bubble sorting” or “the law of entropy increase”, and Fogsight can automatically generate animations containing narration, visual elements and dynamic effects, achieving rapid conversion from abstract text to concrete images. It supports multiple rounds of dialogue adjustments, and users can precisely tune the generated animation through the Language User Interface (LUI) until the desired effect is achieved. Fogsight is compatible with a variety of LLMs, such as OpenAI’s GPT and Google’s Gemini, and users can flexibly choose according to their needs.

How to use fog icon

• Configure environment: Download and install the Fogsight project code, configure the required environmental dependencies, and ensure that the system can run normally.

• Prepare API key: Get the API key of a supported large language model (such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, etc.) and fill it incredentials.jsonin the file.

• Enter subject: Through Fogsight’s user interface or command line tool, enter a description of the topic or concept you want to animate.

• Generate animation: The system will automatically parse the input content, use LLM to generate animation scripts, and generate complete animation works through the animation engine.

• Adjust and optimize: If necessary, you can have multiple rounds of dialogue with the system through the Language User Interface (LUI) to adjust and optimize the generated animation until you are satisfied.

• Export to use: Export the generated animation to video files or other formats for use in different scenarios such as teaching, science popularization, and display.
